Substance Use Treatment & Recovery Services
Continuing care begins upon admission with the comprehensive assessment and treatment planning process. Prior to discharge, all clients receive a personalized continuing recovery plan which typically includes one or more of the following outpatient services:
- medication for addiction recovery
- supportive housing
- local recovery groups based on individual needs and preferences.
This wraparound approach is founded on the belief that services and supports should be flexibly arranged to meet the unique needs of each client and their family.
Our knowledgeable treatment team has many years of experience working with clients regarding various issues involving substance use, mental health, relationships, and more. The continuing care planning process takes all needs into consideration, adopting an individualized, strength-based, and family-centered approach to recovery.
PROGRAM STAFF WORK CLOSELY WITH CLIENTS TO IDENTIFY RESOURCES IN THE COMMUNITY THAT WILL HELP THEM BE SUCCESSFUL IN SUSTAINING THEIR RECOVERY.
In addition, we assist clients in identifying strengths, interests, and positive attributes as well as high-risk situations and triggers that may jeopardize their substance use recovery. All of this information is factored into the continuing recovery plan. Upon discharge, many clients take advantage of Spectrum’s comprehensive continuum of care which offers a seamless, uninterrupted transition to one of many outpatient treatment centers throughout Massachusetts, offering a range of counseling services, medication management, and medication for addiction recovery.
